Our History

Founded on 18 November 2013 under the visionary leadership of Natalie Rochelle Michaels, HCC began its journey with a clear mission: to empower individuals and organizations through innovative skills development solutions.

From its inception, HCC has grown into a nationally recognized leader in training and development. In 2014, we secured our first major corporate partnership with Rhodes Food Group, setting the foundation for long-term industry collaboration. By 2015, HCC had established a fully integrated national footprint, delivering services across all provinces of South Africa.

Our commitment to excellence led to a strategic partnership in 2016 with Mancosa, one of South Africa’s leading private higher education institutions. This collaboration strengthened our ability to provide world-class learning opportunities.

In 2017, HCC spearheaded the nationwide implementation of Employment Equity training and facilitated the establishment of Employment Equity Committees across South Africa. The following year, we launched our inaugural Learnership Programme for People with Disabilities (PWD), reinforcing our dedication to inclusivity.

By 2019, HCC achieved official recognition as a Large-Scale Skills Development Provider, a milestone that underscored our impact in the sector. In 2021, we were appointed as the Skills Development Provider of choice for both international and national funding schemes, further expanding our reach.

Our commitment to social responsibility was highlighted in 2022, when HCC began serving as the sole sponsor for children’s initiatives within our community development efforts. In 2023, we proudly celebrated our 10th anniversary, marking a decade of growth, innovation, and transformation.

Today, HCC continues to make a significant impact, having successfully registered over 15,000 learners within our training and development system by 2024. This achievement reflects our unwavering dedication to creating opportunities and shaping futures.
